Artist Statement
My work expresses my passion for life and involvement with my environment. They empower me to express feelings and emotions that are difficult to portray in any other medium. My process starts with an idea, emotion or memory of an experience that takes shape with movement and color. As my original source matures and develops I work and lay down my paint. I am deeply affected by my environment and draw the basis of my subject matter from it.
