Biography
Carol Beth Rodriguez currently works out of her studio in the coastal town of Solana Beach. Her mediums include oil acrylic and mixed media to create paintings, sculpture, installations and performance work. Born in the Midwest she moved to California at a young age. Inspired by the vibrant light and multicultural environment of the West Coast she incorporates a thoughtful blend of movement, shapes and color to set in motion an ethereal affect that piques perceptive reflection. Carol holds the belief that self expression through artistic medium heals the body and spirit. She spreads this positive message through her active participation in "Hearts For Healing" an art workshop at the Scripps Medical Foundation in Encinitas, Ca.
She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from San Diego State University.
